Today was a bittersweet day. On one hand, I enjoyed the guilty pleasures of a lazy day home from work due to a snow day. On the other hand, we are grieving the loss of some dear members of our church family--Glenn and Elaine Mull. They died in an airplane crash yesterday outside of Nashville with their daughter and granddaughter. Psalm 34:18 says, "The LORD is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit". What a beautiful promise we are given, even in the midst of tragedy.
Every day is a gift. Don't forget it.
